Practical Caravan Magazine
Managing Director Jason Mace received a telephone call from the product review team at Practical Caravan Magazine asking if ther could test our Gala Shade along with other brands available to purchase in the UK market place, below is what they said and published.
2.5m x 2.5m Gala Shade
At 21kg, this is the heaviest gazebo we tested but its also the best built with hardwearing nylon joints and sturdy steel frame. Its easily assembled in the same way as the Quik Shade, but it boasts a clever extra in the form of a button mechanism that you turn to lower the legs. This reduces the risk of trapping fingers. The Gala Shade collapsed back down again with ease in to a wheelie bag supplied.
The polyester canopy roof is seem-sealed for improved water resistance, and is strengthened by a brace with four height settings. Guy ropes and pegs are provided for anchorage, yet even without these the Gala Shade is remarkably wind resistant. Side panels are available separately.
Verdict
A top quality gazebo but the heavy weight may put of some caravaners.

Customer Satisfaction
Thanks once again for providing us the marquee for our Christening party. We had a wonderful day, our guests were amazed at how good it was - sturdy and did the trick - very exciting ! Our French doors opened neatly into the tent from our sitting room and so we doubled our living space capacity for 18 people.
Attached are a few photos. Have a great Christmas and New Year.
Kind Regards
Annabel

Dear Gala Tent
As you see, we had a great party with your marquee. It was very easy to erect and dismantle and the
storage bags will keep it in good condition for the next event. It is well made and I'm delighted
with it.

Dear Gala Tent
The enclosed digital images were taken at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park Show on Saturday 7th July
2007. The Horndean & District Amateur Radio Club have been using one of your marquees for over 6
years now, this year using the vastly improved Poly PVC covered one with improved tube fixings &
ground bar set. Much easier to erect and more flexible in use because of the zip opening side and
end sections. The attached images show it in use. The Club members had two busy days with many
members of the public visiting us as many thousands attended the show. I have several other images
of the marquee at the event. Our Radio operators made several hundred contacts world wide and we
will as a result be sending them all a specially designed colour printed card as confirmation of
their contact with us at the show. The card will this year be a collage of events happening at the
show, including an image showing some of our operators and our Gala Tent.

Have received the replacement end panel, I've not put the marquee up but it looks right, hopefully
all will be well. Can I say how impressed I was with your level of after sales service, I will not
hesitate to deal with you again, please find attached some photos of the marquee erected in my back
garden.
Keep up the good work. Nigel H.

Gala Tent
We were delighted with the marquee. It was easy to assemble, particularly after taking a little time to look at the
assembly video on the web site and was made of robust material. It looked the part and all those who came to our
party thought it a great idea.

Most of these Photo's are taken on Sidmouth Sea Front (sea in background) where I operate a car
valeting business on Saturdays. The tent has also been used to good effect on site at customers
houses during rain or hot sun. in both cases, people who noticed the tent have been converted
into customers.
I can setup the Gazeebo on my own in less than 15 minutes, and it all fits into my van with the rest
of my equipment.
Feel free to use my comapny logo on your website, as well as the pictures.

Hi All at Gala
Just a very big thank you for sending our marquee so quickly. We had our Elvis Party on Saturday night and it was
fantastic. As we had two marquees (one borrowed) everyone kept warm and we had a brilliant time.
Thanks again.
I attach a couple of photos for your competition.
Regards. Debbie Keeble
Dear Gala Tent Not sure if this is the correct address to send this to, but please find attached
photo of one of your Gala Shades in operation at the recent Beaulieu International Autojumble in
September. Absolutely fantastic piece of equipment - we even impressed those around us with our
speed of operation - no embarrasing fumbling around for US!!! (It's your table and leg weights in use
too!) Regards

Gala tent used by us at the British National Tractor Road Run held at Lincoln show ground. The tent
is regularly used for Steam and Vintage events all around the country and is standing up very well
to the constant build up and break down of a busy summer schedule. The tent has withstood some
very strong winds and horendous rainy downpours this year keeping our valuable stock and us dry on
many weekends.

As noted earlier I think that I may have used my Gala Tent to cover something that no
other Gala Tent has covered before: a railway wagon. I work on a preserved railway where covered accommodation is
at a real premium nearly all of it is taken up locomotives forcing wagon repairs into the open. The Scottish weather
makes this a bit off a hit or miss affair so I began looking at temporary buildings like marquees and found out that
Gala Tent offered a suitable size at reasonable price and decided to buy one and try it out. In late November
last year I received my 4m x 8m Gala Tent and immediately erected it over the wagon I wanted to work on. Due the
ground conditions I got the optional ground bar set as well. Basically it was excellent myself and friend got it up
in an hour and a bit having never seen one before and with just the pictures on the boxes. It then stayed up happily
for two weeks. No leaks, no frame damage and it was cold, rainy and windy over those two weeks. I have attached
a picture of the wagon being pushed out so that we could take the tent down. I will be looking to expand my tent to
40ft/12m and re-erect it towards the end of February to allow restoration work to continue. The Board members of the
railway were also impressed by the tent and are thinking about them for visitor and exhibition use at the railway's
special events. All in all seems to be a good product.
