Description

The height of domestic holiday luxury in the age of the staycation, The Gala Dome geodesic glamping dome is manufactured using robust galvanised steel framework, which connects in short, incredibly strong triangle modules to create a sturdy semi-sphere frame. This frame is covered by UV protected and fire-rated 650gsm white PVC that is lacquer coated on both sides to ensure full water resistance and effectiveness whatever the Great British weather throws at it.


Despite the thick covering, each glamping dome is afforded wonderful vistas of your land, whether it’s coast or country, as the large 1mm thick PVC window can be placed to provide panoramic views and let in maximum lighting, and the classy skylight at the uppermost point of the structure is equally effective in allowing plenty of natural light into the room. Optional curtains are available to ensure total privacy through the panoramic window.


Each geodesic dome is supplied with 5cm thick padded polyester insulation to ensure the room remains cosy, and the lockable double doors will ensure security of your guests and their belongings. They are also wide enough to enable you to furnish the structure with almost anything you can imagine.



And on warm days, when the sun beats down upon your glamp site, each dome is supplied with a roll-up PVC window to assist with the airflow, as well as a fabric window with customisable metal vent pipe, into which you can easily fix in a heated stove (not included).


These increasingly popular and stylish alternative to yurts and tents can be fixed directly into grass using heavy duty steel pegs, or bolted into decking, and why not increase the luxury even further by taking the option of modular flooring which not only provides an extra level of comfort for you or your guests, but can also provide additional weight and ballast to the structure, which in turn provides additional security in extreme weather.


With the average cost of a glamping holiday in a 5m dome coming in at around £100 per night, often much more, depending on the location, and with UK-based holidays very much the future in the current climate, you can be assured of a quick return on investment with a Gala Dome.
