Back in the summer, one of our Sales Advisors was celebrating his 18th birthday and asked if he could borrow one of our pop up gazebos. Joel wished to borrow our largest frame, the Pro 50. With massive 60mm diameter legs and joints made of profile aluminium, the structure had to be fitted in to Joel’s modest 1.2L 2003 Polo 9N. Not only this, but he also had to fit in the canopy, side walls, six 13kg cast iron weighted feet and a set of 8 globe lights. At first he thought he was going to have to make two journeys to get the goods home.
But with the help of four other colleagues (and kindly documented by the Marketing team), they managed to fit the whole lot in. That’s right the 3m x 6m structure, the canopy, the side walls, six weighted feet and a globe light set all in the back of the car.
The challenge accepted and complete. As for the party, it was a roaring success, that successful that he forgot to take pictures of the event for us! So the moral of the story is that even our largest gazebo frames can fit in a pretty small car. Simply view our gallery below for proof.
