How thick are Smoothtrax tiles?
Each tile is 16mm thick — slightly thinner than Ribtrax but still heavy-duty and capable of taking vehicle loads.
Can I use Smoothtrax in my garage?
Yes — they’re strong enough for cars, vans, and kit, but better suited to cleaner environments or where a flatter surface is preferred.
Do Smoothtrax tiles drain water?
Yes, but they have smaller perforations than Ribtrax. Liquids can pass through, but they won’t let large debris drop through as easily.
Can I mix Smoothtrax with Ribtrax?
Yes — they share the same interlocking system and can be laid together if needed, although the surface textures are different.
