Why looking “temporary” costs you customers
Events are noisy, busy environments. Customers don’t have time to ask questions first — they scan, filter, and move on.
A basic, unbranded gazebo sends unintentional signals:
-
This business might be new or part-time
-
They may not be here next month
-
They might not be trustworthy
-
There’s probably nothing memorable here
None of those things may be true — but perception fills the gaps before conversation ever happens.
The frustrating part is that many traders assume credibility comes from price, product quality, or personality. Those things matter, but they only work after someone stops.
If they don’t stop, you never get the chance.
