Gala Tent Supports RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & Bradford with Branded Gazebo Donation
Helping a local charity stay visible when it matters most
When a charity loses a key fundraising asset, timing matters. After high winds destroyed their existing gazebo, the team at RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & Bradford faced a difficult spring and summer ahead without proper cover for events.
Their Digital Manager and Fundraiser, Fay, reached out in the hope of finding a replacement. With a £3 million fundraising target for a major refurbishment of their Halifax animal centre, every event counts. Without a gazebo, their ability to engage supporters and raise funds would have taken a hit.
For us at Gala Tent, the decision was straightforward.

A practical solution, built for real use
We supplied a fully branded 3m x 3m Gala Shade Pro 40 pop up gazebo in blue, designed to give the team a more professional presence at events while remaining practical for day-to-day use.
Fay explained that the gazebo may often be set up and handled by a single person. That made the Pro 40 the right fit. It delivers commercial-grade durability while remaining lightweight and manageable enough for solo use.
To maximise its impact, we included full charity branding as part of the donation. This ensures the team stands out at events and reinforces trust with the public.
A personal delivery and a closer look at their work
Rather than sending the gazebo by courier, we wanted to deliver it in person.
Our Head of Marketing, Ryan, and Marketing Apprentice, Bailey, travelled to Halifax to meet Fay and the team. It gave us the chance to see first-hand the work being done and understand the real impact behind the request.
Due to the ongoing refurbishment, the dogs are currently housed at a separate site. During the visit, Ryan and Bailey met some of the cats and kittens being cared for, including Waddles and Wiggles, two of seven kittens found abandoned in a box.
Moments like that bring everything into focus.

A reaction that says it all
Fay shared that she had not expected much support. At best, she hoped to find a second-hand gazebo to provide basic shelter for fundraising.
Hearing that, the importance of getting this right became even clearer.
When we confirmed the donation, she was genuinely overjoyed. The new gazebo will play a key role in helping the team continue their fundraising efforts during a critical period for the charity.
From Gala Tent
Ryan summed up the experience:
"It’s been a genuine pleasure to work with Fay on bringing this donation to life for the charity. Her enthusiasm for supporting animals is infectious. I live in a cat house, so it was lovely to hold Waddles and Wiggles.
Often when we donate items, we do not always see the full impact. Spending time in Halifax showed just how much difference this will make. RSPCA HHB have got friends for life at Gala Tent."
