The World's First Driveable Gazebo

Gala Tent has teamed up with inventor Kevin Nicks, the man behind the World's Fastest Shed, to build something gloriously daft: the world's first driveable pop-up gazebo.

It started life as a Gala Shade Pro 50, our robust, easy-to-use commercial gazebo. Kevin used that frame as the foundation and added wheels (not unlike our own gazebo caster wheels), seating for two, and the motor from a mobility scooter. The result is a fully driveable shelter that Kevin now takes on tour to promote his work at motor shows and events across the country.

A partnership built on not taking ourselves too seriously

Kevin builds vehicles out of things that have no business being vehicles, and he does it brilliantly. Finished in Gala Tent branding, with dye-sublimation printed covers and teardrop flags, the driveable gazebo is made to turn heads, get the cameras out, and give Kevin a memorable way to showcase his creations.

Kevin Nicks is a Guinness World Record holder best known for the World's Fastest Shed, a road-legal shed on wheels that he built and drove to a certified record of 106.12 mph. He has built a series of record-breaking machines over the years, and his creations have gone viral repeatedly, with appearances on television and beyond.
