Great flooring and easy to cut and install. I used this as an alternative to a traditional wooden cockpit floor on a yacht. It works perfectly and looks good too. The water drains through, its grippy and hard wearing.Service and help from Gala tents was first class as well.
After doing some research for a flooring system for our garage floor I came across only a few companies who could supply the kind of product we were looking for, one of them being Gala Tent who supplied a product from a company called Swisstrax. Swisstrax have their own website which has a very handy design tool allowing you to free flow a unique design of tiles with a wide range of colours along with a calculator telling you exactly how many of each tile and colour you need to build your floor. Once we had the design I contacted Gala Tent for a quotation to supply the tiles we required, now bearing in mind the country was still in lock down due to Covid 19 emails flowed to and throw with both Ryan and Nathan who were both extremely helpful and full of advice. Especially as two of the tile colours requited were not in stock and would have to be sent direct from Swisstrax warehouse in France.We decided to go with Gala Tent and the order was placed with both the UK and French consignments arriving within a week.I will be honest I could have saved some money picking a similar product manufactured and sold by a different company, however, now the tiles have arrived and are fitted along with the level of knowledge and service I received from Gala Tent we are extremely pleased with the transformation the flooring has made to our garage.I would definitely recommend both Swisstrax as a product and Gala Tent as a supplier
From start to finish the service was fantastic. Placing the order of the phone Darren knew his stuff and as promised, the deliver arrived before 12 noon the next day.The Swisstrax Smoothtrax is a fantastic flooring I cannot recommend enough. So simple to lay (just follow the guidance Galaltent provide) and you won't go wrong. Cutting is simple, hacksaw, circular saw (fine blade with many teeth) or even a knife for small cuts.We bought two different main colours (Pearl Silver and Slate Grey) and created parking bays, edged the room and used red for ramps and it looks amazing.This is the best flooring I have found, super strong, chemical and stain resistant, axle stand and trolleys jacks are no problem.
