Marquee Weights and Anchors
Your Gala Tent marquee is a strong piece of kit, of that there's no doubt. However, it is not indestructible, and therefore you're going to need to give it some anchor points that will keep it grounded in the case of adverse weather. There's no such thing as anchoring your marquee too well, and we recommend you add as much as you can. For hard ground, there's no point buying tent pegs. You'll need substantial weights, ideally easily transportable, so that you can hold and shelter your event with total confidence.
For swift security, our 13kg Cast Iron feet (sold in pairs) can be deployed instantly and will provide a good level of weight to each leg. Be aware that if you have attached marquee ground bars to your framework, then these weights will not be suitable. We recommend looking at concrete or water weights in this instance.
If you require something a little heavier, but easier to transport, then the exclusive 50kg Water-Weights (sold individually) are an incredibly good value solution. They travel flat and light, and you simply need to fill them with water when you arrive at your destination.
If you’re on soft ground, then look no further than the ever-popular Tie-Down Storm Kits (sold as a pair) which come with heavy duty ratchet straps and tent pegs, allowing you to anchor your tent to the ground with incredible ease.
