Dear Gala Tents,
You may remember that earlier in the year you kindly donated to us a 4x4m tent for a school with refugees in Burkina Faso, Africa? Also you donated a lot of canvas and pieces of tents.We promised to send some pictures, and here they are. I know it is quite a while since you gave the tent - I led the group out in Nov which took the tent to the place where it was going. We used the tent in couple different locations, as you can probably see in the pictures. We first set it up at a newly established school in a very poor slum area. This school doesn't have enough classrooms for the children that come, and they were keen to see how the tent was, to see if it could be used to provide a cheaper alternative to building.This school has an out-post school far out in the countryside where children who don't go to any other school gather each evening to learn to read and write. We ended up leaving the tent there, as the ram-shackle structure they had for teaching the children in before was really far from ideal. They were absolutely delighted with the tent, which was a talking point in the whole community. No-one had ever seen anything like it before! It doubled the space they had for teaching the children in and made it far more prestigious to go to this school than before. It was a proper school! now!If you ever have seconds or unwanted tents (especially larger ones) in the future that you would be willing to donate to Africa, please do let us know. We would be very grateful to have them and they would certainly be appreciated over there. We send containers over to Burkina Faso to supply our schools and also local hospitals several times a year, so there is no problem in getting the tents to the destination.Feel free to be in touch if you want more details.

I am seriously having the last laugh, an acquaintance ridiculed me for the price I paid for my Gala Tent, his £120 cheapy, after yesterdays wind is now on a crash course to land somewhere miles away all bent and tattered……ouch, I told him he should have gone to Gala.

Hi Guys, We borrowed a Gala tent for our wedding venue. We draped it and added floral displays and had the venue of our dreams. If only we could put a photo of your marquee in this review. So impressed were we with the quality of your produce that we would not hesitate to recommend you and purchase your goods. If that does not impress anyone then just to add another gold medal to your product, we had to replace a side panel due to modifications this was ordered at 1pm and the replacement was at the front door by 8.30am the following morning. Thats what I call service. Thank you Gala Tent, your product helped to make our day special and for the hasty replacement panel to save us any embarrassment when returning the marquee to our friends.

The quality and speed of delivery deserves a 5 star rating, but when I wanted to purchase a different style of tent side the price quoted was more than the cost of the complete tent! It seems unless it is a stock item the price is over the top. I couldn't even purchase a door zip to install myself.

I am very happy to recommend your company and if had anticipated the level of service I have received, I would not have wasted my time even considering other companies. Unfortunately, at this time I do not know anyone who is looking to purchase a tent, however that may change after our event thus weekend. I am certain both Chewbacca (me) and Vader will be happy not having to duck so far as we did with our old tent and i am sure this new tent will attract more donations for childrens hospice south west too (csw.org.uk)I would think we would permit some of our images to be used for gala tents as we will be looking to get a 3 by 3 for a tent for members to get into and out of costumes and possibly put that behind this 6 by 3.That one we will save for,again black will be best,but i don't suppose it has to be a pro 50 this time or need much printing.Thank you all for your help and the 10 per cent charity discount that made it just within our clubs budget.It took us all 2 years to get enough club funds for the pro 50 6 by 3 and altough many members wanted to buy a cheap one,i held out as vice chairman for the best i could find.I look forward to many years of fund raising with the tent and the group and to raising many more thousands for the childrens hospice.All the best,look out for the pics on facebook

We erected the Gala Tent this week-end and are very pleased with the product. We did have a small problem with a faulty batch of wing bolts, and had a somewhat more laborious approach of replacing these with standard bolts. However on reporting this today I have been promised replacements which should rectify the problem, Many thanks

Thanks very much for your extra help with this, much appreciated but the good news is I think the problem is solved and the tubes are OK!I took out the tube from my working heater and compared them side by side and was surprised to see that they were the same size! So I fitted a new tube into the working heater and that tube fitted OK and worked.So then I went to the heater that wasn't working and tried again, it looks as though the spring mechanism in the heater itself wasn't springing out enough. So I have had a play with that and managed to get it working, it is still quite loose but at least it is working.The good news is that the tubes are fine and the right size it's just my heater that is a bit temperamental.Thanks again for your help and sorry for taking your time with this. Great customer service :)
