I purchased the 6 x 12m marquee over the telephone after looking at your products via your website. The sales person was most helpful and discussed with me additional items such as flooring and ratchet ties. I was assured that the marquee would be delivered during the week commencing 12 March. In fact the marquee arrived the day after the order was made. We live in Devon and I was very impressed with the speed of delivery. The marquee consisted of about 15 boxes and arrived on a sealed pallet. Unfortunately we were unable to make use of the marquee as we had to cancel our planned function. In fact none of the boxes were even opened. I was very impressed with the level of customer services with regard to my request to return the marquee. I was kept informed of the returns’ procedure at all levels. Although I haven’t received the refund at the date of writing this email, I am assured that the monies will be refunded on 13 April 2012. I would not hesitate to recommend Gala Tents based on the level of customer service that I have received.Many thanks

I dont know a thing anout marquees & I am a women. Great service from everyone, we have a quality product but for an affordable price. I would like to put a few words together about my recent purchase.I purchased a 4m x 6m Gala Tent and Gala matting for a birthday party that I am having in my garden. Unfortunately when the matting arrived it was damaged. I immediately contacted the Customer Service dept and spoke to Melissa who asked me to send a photo so that it could be investigated, I did this immediately and within a couple of days I got a reply stating that they would refund the cost of the matting. This was an excellent gesture. I put up the marquee and noticed an eyelet missing, and a day later it absolutely poured down. There was a leak where some of the stitching was, so I again contacted Melissa who asked if I wanted a replacement panel or the parts to fit myself. Melissa said that she would send some spare eyelets together with an eyelet closing tool and would also send me some sealant free of charge. Once again, excellent service.It is nice to have a customer service department who actually put the customer first, well done Melissa. I also spoke with Craig in sales and suggested that they could do with a side panel with a door in, guess what? They do actually make them, so because of the excellent service I had received I purchased one..I am well pleased with my purchase, the sales team and the excellent customer service, 10/10... I would recommend this company to anyone wanting a professional marquee at a reasonable price...

The resolution you provided us on the issue we had last week.I just wanted to say thank you very very much on what you did for us and the speed you resolved my issue, I as the managing director am most pleased as we would have lost a Huge job which you saved us from losing.Next day delivery was what you promised and without fail, it was with us 8am, could not believe our luck. So here's a massive well done and a huge thanks for your help.Please pass on our compliments to your manager for hiring such a super star and a customer focused member of the team. The service and products from Gala Tent have always been excellent and this occasion was no different.I have now bought 3 4mx10m marquees on behalf of our village community charity. The first one proved to be so useful and sturdy that we invested in a second (including ground bars, tiedowns and guttering) and now have decided a third will provide us with enough space for most events. We are reassured that if the 'canvas' or poles/fittings get damaged we can get replacements unlike many firms.It is always reassuring, too, to get a phone call from you if there is a problem.

After explaining the urgency of getting the Gala Tent which was temporarily out of stock, the team got back to me with one they had managed to source. Saved the day and arrived as predicted on time.Thank you all very much.

I have found your service to be very efficient and prompt with care from yourself in replying to my queries and overall you have provided me with a sterling / first class service and I will continue to use your products as my next order will be a concertina type gazebo 3m x 3m for my art events in Jersey.

I am very disappointed with the quality of the 3m x 6m Gala tent made 500d ivory white polyester material with PVC backing. When I disassemble it I found the roof canopy material to be ripped along the top apex pole where the Ivory satin lining Velcro attachment points were. I had followed the manufactures instructions “if you are planning to leave your structure erected for many days/weeks/months, the weather should be checked regularly to ensure the safety of the structure???. I had also used ratchet tie downs and the ground bar set. I complained to Gala Tent that the design of the satin lining had caused the top canopy to rip due to the materials rubbing together. I also pointed out that their claim “we believe it’s the most durable marquee of its kind in the world!??? was not true from my experience. Gala Tent’s reply was “we have not had any other complaints in regards to the Velcro rubbing which, if it was a design fault, we would have heard about this???. They offered me 10% discount as a good gesture.

According to our investigation in to your issues you brought forward we did investigate fully and a commercial decision was made that your structure had what is known in the business as 'fair wear', and if you are to leave your structure up as a permanent fixture for lengthy periods of time then it its reasonable to say that it will be subject to all kinds of inclement weather and will require maintenance at some stage. I believe as a good will gesture our customer service team offered you a 10% discount to help your situation, which Gala Tent believe to be very reasonable. Gala Tent hope that this will not deter you from using our service again in the near future.

Mary, Firstly thank you for your handling of the galamat issue which hopefully will be resolved shortly. Also we wanted to say how pleased and impressed we were with the Gala Shade. It works perfectly for our use and is so much more structurally sound than other options we had looked at. It did take us a bit of effort to get it up, not sure if this is just us missing a trick or whether it was slightly stiff on first use but overall very pleased.

Hi Melissa, I have been happy with the service so far from Gala Tent. I haven't been able to put the products together yet. So I am unable to say if I'm happy with it, but I trust if there are any issues with the product they will be addressed. Good service so far.
