Quality products at very reasonable prices.With seemingly increasing frequency and wind strength during recent storms, needed additional reassurance with pinning down a metal arch in the garden.The pack of 6 heavy duty steel ground spikes have done the job nicely.Easy to knock in any long enough to secure the structure to the ground.

Purchasing and delivery GREAT!Better/simpler instructions required for erection having three types of B bars. If you can afford it go for the better quality roof. 8 eyelets pulled out of our roof on the first use and it wasn't even very windy

I ordered a 4m x 12m marquee, thinking it would be almost the same as one I’d previously inherited to the same dimensions. What I got was two 4m x 6m marquees that were to be joined, end to end, to give me the 12m length I’d ordered. In retrospect, the two smaller marquees give me more flexibility than the single larger one.The marquees are joined with a gutter and side panel linking arrangements which, if used with a set of ground bars is a bit clumsy and without any real detailed instructions on how to assemble it.That said, the overall quality of the product is good. I would recommend the use of mechanical grease on all the joints, especially if the marquee is to remain erected for more than a few days.Finally, I have had reason to call the staff at ‘Gala Tent’ with a minor query. I found them to be polite, helpful and very obliging with no quibble.

Bought 3 marquees - very good presales with fast replies etc., but bit disappointed not to have been told about the 2 month delay to the bags the marquees are stored in. Quick to take the money from our charity for them though, and when raised this postsale with the salesman he ignored the concern. Also a missing item due to a packing error though this has since been sorted which is fair enough. Delivery driver was at least helpful, although think an external company - at least they're using a good company! Equipment has been good in the past, so hoping this makes up for the lack of notification about the delay for the bags, so giving 4 stars.

I have waited until we put up our marquees to be able to review them properly. As scouts we are quite experienced at putting up a variety of different tents so this helped us as we knew what to expect. The first time you put up something new it will always take longer. It is definitely a lot more time consuming to erect than our previous tents. However, this is because there are a lot more parts. Some things were quite fiddly initially but we learnt some short cuts quite quickly for when we erected the second one. I think the quickest way would be to allocate specific tasks and for the size of our marquees a minimum of 4 people to erect them. Extra when attaching the legs.Attaching the ground rails was the most awkward as there were no specific instructions. We also purchased a kit to join the two marquees together, which we did. The instructions that came with that item were very unclear. We did however work it out, at least to fit our purpose.We were impressed with the quality of the material used and the construction of the single canopy piece. The combination of the Dutch lacing and heavy duty Velcro was impressive. We also like the fact with the windows it gives us an all round view of what’s going on outside and more light than our previous tents. We are also looking forward to the fact they will be a lot easier to keep clean.We will be using them for one of our busiest camps of the year in couple of weeks time so it will be interesting to compare their use.We were impressed with the customer service as one of the leg poles was damaged on arrival and a replacement was organised the same day. Also when placing the order it was helpful to talk to someone about our exact needs as they know the product well.Why did we choose Gala over others we had looked at? 1. They were recommended by the scout association.2. Spare parts are readily available down to the tiniest nut and bolt or screw. Very important for us.3. The price and value for money compared to other companies.4. Easy to contact.Additionally, I think your website is very informative which for me is very important. It is also relatively easy to find what you are looking for.We look forward to doing business with you in the future.

Good size marquee with very strong poles. Not tested in any significant winds yet but looks like it should be robust.

Great that parts are available but not always in stock

I’m an engineer with 30 years of experience , I do loads of research before I buy , on this occasion my budget started at £250 for a 3x4.5m it very quickly became apparent that if I wanted a pop up to last more than 24 hours I would have to completely rethink the whole piece. The internet is stuffed full of bended pop ups , and no surprise , like all things there is throw away kit and there is last a lifetime kit. Gala is so far away in terms of durability in design from your throw away pop upIt is astounding . The build is made to last , industrial grade strength and quality , no cheap Chinese import that will crumple the first sign of. Wind , add that to big build in Britain company with superb real local customer service and you not only have a superior piece of kit you have years of piece of mind knowing your fully supported . The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is that like life , nothing and no one is truly perfect !!

Excellent product

Impressive quality and easy to erect. The storage and transportation bag is also great. I had an issue with delivery due to damage at the courier depot which was inconvenient. If it wasn’t for this, I’d have rated 5 stars.

Good strong units had a few of these

Product is good. The delivery driver dropped it into the hall on ground floor of our apartment, we are on level 2. The carrier prevented a 5 star review.

When speaking to staff at gala they are so help full from start to finish of purchase of item . starting from frame to side to weights . I've always had great service from any member of staff even when ordering and making a mistake they will contact you to help sort out any issue .

Delay in delivery which was resolved. Well made tent, easy to put up. So far so good. It hasn't had to withstand any weather yet so fingers crossed it will have a long life.

Excellent service from Gala and excellent parts as well BUT very poor performance from their carriers, XDP, ordered and despatched 5/4/22 in good time for Easter, the parcel reached me on 20/4/22, I wish I was able to post a review for XDP here, Gala did their bit very well but their choice of carrier let them down very badly
