Party Gazebos
A party gazebo, also sold as a pop up party gazebo or party gazebo tent, is a portable shelter built to cover guests, food and seating at garden parties, birthdays, BBQs and summer celebrations. Gala Tent's party gazebo range covers the most popular party sizes, 3m x 3m up to a massive 4m x 10m or 6m x 6m, in three build grades, so you can match the gazebo to how often you'll use it and the weather you're likely to face.
For most garden parties, a 3m x 6m heavy-duty pop-up gazebo is the practical choice: it comfortably covers 20 or more guests with room for a food table and some seating, and it goes up in minutes without tools.
Every size below is for sale online with next working day delivery on orders placed in time.

Choosing the Right Party Gazebo
Two things decide which party gazebo suits you: the size you need for your guests, and how hard you'll work it.
On size, a 3m x 3m gazebo suits smaller gatherings, drinks receptions, and use as extra cover for a barbecue, food station or kids' area alongside a larger shelter. A 3m x 6m gazebo is the garden-party workhorse, with space for 20 or more guests, tables, chairs and a small dance area. Hosting bigger numbers, you can pair two gazebos or step up to a party tent marquee.
On build grade, the range runs from lightweight to extra heavy duty:
- Pro 40, our lightweight grade, is the easiest to handle and the best-value entry point for occasional, fair-weather use.
- Pro 50, our heavy-duty grade, uses a 50mm hex aluminium frame with profile aluminium joints and a 600D canopy. It's the popular all-rounder for regular party use and the model we'd point most people to.
- Pro 60, our extra heavy-duty grade, runs an exclusive 60mm frame for frequent use or more exposed sites.

Party Gazebo Sizes and Capacities
A 3m x 3m party gazebo gives roughly 9 square metres of cover, enough for a handful of guests with a table, or as a dedicated bar or catering point. A 3m x 6m party gazebo gives around 18 square metres and comfortably covers 20 or more guests with seating and food. For larger events, two 3m x 6m gazebos placed together extend the run, and beyond that a party tent marquee is the better fit.
For a full breakdown of how many guests each footprint holds, see our marquee and gazebo capacity guide.
If you want a gazebo to leave up in the garden through the seasons rather than for events, our garden gazebos cover the permanent and semi-permanent options.
Why Choose a Gala Tent Party Gazebo
Gala Tent has manufactured and supplied event shelters from South Yorkshire since 1999, and the party gazebo range is built to commercial standards rather than disposable garden-centre quality, so they are as suitable for festivals and pub beer gardens as they are for homes. Every gazebo is backed by a 5-year frame warranty, and the canopies are fully waterproof and UV-resistant.
The range is available in 12 canopy colours, more than most suppliers offer, so you can match a theme or keep it neutral. You can add gazebo sides for privacy, shade or weather protection, and the whole range is supported by genuine spare parts so a gazebo bought for one party keeps going for years.
Orders placed in time qualify for next working day delivery, which matters when an event date is fixed. Gala Tent is ISO 9001 certified.

Large Party Gazebos
For 40 guests upwards, a large party gazebo does the job of a small marquee without the build time or the ground crew. The range steps up through 4m x 6m and 4m x 8m to 4m x 10m, and the 4m formats run on the Gala Shade Pro 60 with its exclusive 60mm frame, because a bigger canopy catches more wind and needs a stronger structure behind it.
A 4m x 8m big gazebo gives 32 square metres, which covers around 42 standing guests with room for a bar and a food table. The 4m x 10m is the largest pop-up gazebo we make, and the 6m x 6m Vantage Pop-Up Marquee gives a square footprint that suits seated dining better than a long run does. Our gazebo size guide works through the numbers for every size.
Whatever the size, weight every leg. A large party gazebo with an unweighted footprint is the most common cause of damage at an outdoor event.
Gazebos for Garden Parties, Birthdays and House Parties
A gazebo for a garden party has a short, hard life: up on the Friday, loaded with food, drink and guests on the Saturday, down and back in the bag on the Sunday. Garden party gazebos need to go up quickly without tools, shed a shower without pooling, and pack away small enough to live in a shed for the rest of the year.
For birthdays and christenings, the 3m x 3m works as a bar, a cake table or a shaded corner for older guests, while the 3m x 6m covers the whole gathering. For a house party that spills outdoors, a gazebo pitched by the back door extends the room and keeps the sound system out of the rain. Gazebos for garden parties come in 12 canopy colours, so you can match a theme, which matters more at a birthday than it does on a market stall.
Every party gazebo here is for sale outright, so one bought for a single celebration covers every event after it. If you need cover only once, we also offer gazebo and marquee hire.
Which Is the Best Party Gazebo? The Pro 50 Compared
Most 3m x 6m party gazebos look alike in a listing photo. The differences that decide how long one lasts sit in the joints, the canopy and the availability of spare parts. Below, the Gala Shade Pro 50 is set against the three models it is most often shortlisted with, all at 3m x 6m.
What the comparison shows
- Joints are the deciding factor. The joint is the part that fails first on any pop-up gazebo. The Pro 50 uses profile aluminium, which flexes rather than shatters. Plastic joints crack with age and UV exposure, and cast metals are hard but brittle under a sudden knock.
- Spare parts decide the lifespan. Two of the four models here have no spare parts programme, so a single broken leg or torn canopy writes off the gazebo. Gala Tent stocks parts for the whole range.
- Fabric figures are not directly comparable. Denier measures the thickness of the yarn and gsm measures the weight of the finished fabric per square metre, so a 600D rating and a 550gsm rating cannot be set side by side as like for like. What matters for a party gazebo is that the coating is PVC and the seams are taped, which is true of all four.
- Delivery and warranty separate them again. Dancover ships from overseas on a 4 to 7 day lead time and Midland Marquees publishes no delivery window at all, which is a problem when the party date is fixed. Gala Tent and TFH both deliver next working day, and both back the frame for five years.
Specifications and prices were checked in July 2026 and taken from each supplier's published product pages. For the smaller footprint, see the 3m x 3m gazebo comparison.
