If you’re in the market for the best marquee available for the money, then we are able to recommend two different types of structure, depending on the size required. Both frames use the same quality of covers, using a robust 650gsm PVC, but with some distinct differences that we’ll talk about here.
Gala Tent Elite PVC Marquees
The dynamic Gala Tent Elite with premium quality, self-cleaning 100% heavy duty PVC covers is quite possibly the most durable easy-use marquee in the world. It uses the same universal powder-coated steel framework of our classic marquee, but the hard-wearing roof, sidewalls and end walls are manufactured using 650gsm glossy wipe-clean PVC.
The marquee can come in widths of 3m, 4m or 6m, and in lengths of 2m all the way up to 24m and beyond. Each ‘bay’ of the marquee is 2m in length, and the window sidewalls each contain a privacy blind, which can be rolled up or down depending on your preference and the application of the Elite Marquee. The covers no longer connect to one another using zips, as historically the PVC is so robust that there aren’t any zips which are strong enough to contain it. For this reason, we use a splendid Dutch Lacing system, combined with thick Velcro, which allow you to pull the marquee sidewalls tight and wid-proof.
The covers are water and fire resistant, as well as guaranteed for a massive thirty six months, so you can be assured of our unwavering confidence in their ability to last the course.
Gala Tent Fusion Marquees
This is the Big Marquee. It is by far the strongest heavy duty marquee that Gala Tent supplies. Using T6061 Aluminium Extrusions in its framework, and completely modular, the Fusion Marquee is a commercial grade structure at a fraction of the price of many clearspan modular marquees.
It uses the same PVC as its lower-spec, sister tent, but each sturdy section of the frame and covers is 3m, which means that whilst the largest marquee size we sell as standard is 9m x 30m, you could realistically build it to any length you need. As standard, sizes of these marquees range from 6m x 6m up to 9m x 30m, and they have proven extremely popular as Beer Tents at Festivals (both music festivals AND beer festivals), show tents at Agricultural and Country Fairs, Hospitality Units at high profile motorsport events, and again very popular with marquee hirers who cater to high end events.
